Evil Nine are not only a cornerstone of breakbeat heritage, but through their residency at Sheffield's legendary Urban Gorilla clubnight, they played a huge part in the development of a new club sound in this city.

They've toured the globe, released two albums, countless remixes, features in Hollywood movies and put out a Fabric Live compilation - all the while keeping us on our toes as their sound has mutated, always keeping an eye firmly on the dancefloor while bringing in elements of hip hop, funk, rock, electro, house, horror movie influences (!) and more besides.

Recent collabs have included working with US rapper Danny Brown for releases on Brodinski's Bromance label (also home to Kaytranada) and on Mason's 'Animal Language label'. They've also got a rather secretive side project on the go that's freed them up to experiment further with deeper and darker sounds - keep your eyes and ears peeled...

TONIGHT HOWEVER - we celebrate Evil Nine's illustrious 14yr + career with a RETROSPECTIVE SET which will take us on a musical journey of classic Evils productions, remixes and influences, right through to present day and what they're feeling right now.

Support is none other than local legend Geoff Ticehurst who shall be doing an Urban Gorilla classics set, as well as Freedom Sessions and our trusty residents The Quality Controllers!

To bring this show to the intimate confines of the Harley is an extremely exciting prospect for us at Quality Control, so naturally, we'll see you down the front!

Special £3 earlybird tickets now up!
