RootsBooster
I would take it back to the garage and ask them rather than seek advice on the internet. If you do use the internet then use a reliable source like a Renault users forum or similar. Yes, seeking advice from a Renault forum seems like the most logical step when trying to solve problems on a Peugeot. I always turn to the Lada forums when there's a problem with my Bugatti. gamezone07
bit more info, there is an uneven tick over , it drops down to 800 rpm, then back up to 1000
Peaks Guy
bit more info, there is an uneven tick over , it drops down to 800 rpm, then back up to 1000 Literally it could be all of the above. Like others have said its almost impossible to give a definable answer. Far to many variables. Best bet is to hawk it around a few garages and get independent advice from a few different mechanics. Most good ones will have a quick look for free and then maybe you can finalize the given problem. Good luck!!
shanes teeth
It could be something as daft as a plug lead not on properly but diagnosing it on a forum would be near impossible,it would be guess work. how does it run when driven? Doesn't usually stop people. On any subject.

alchresearch
The coil pack is a common fail part on the 206. If you want a proper diagnostic with equipment designed just for Peugeot vehicles that can interrogate the engine's live data and not just blindly read fault codes give me a shout. NightHawk33
It could be as simple as new spark plugs... Car running like a Cement mixer ... Could be a few pound to sort ( Plugs) Or a few hundred ( Other). Edited September 23, 2014 by NightHawk33
