Eater Sundae
Does anyone remember Kenyons (I think it was called) car spares, on Division Street, in the 60s? I remember shelves of bits, each wrapped in brown protective paper. I was kid at the time, and it looked like a magical world.
fatrajah
I remember Kenyons but I thought they were more of an engineering firm that did crank regrinds & rebores. I only used them once & they made a pig's ear of the job. That was in about 1968.
bullerboY
Bill Kenyon was a jobbing motor engineer where most of the garages took stuff for machining,my mate Mick worked with him for years. They stocked all the engine parts for most cars of the day.
