Brigantii presents the Find Your Way EP launch party

featuring Hot Diamond Aces plus support from Limit Break

 

An eclectic night of live music and DJs traversing Hip-Hop, Soul, Afro Beat, World Music & Electronica to mark the release of Brigantii’s new 5 track EP ‘Find Your Way’.

 

After a lot of hard work and much anticipation, Brigantii are delighted to be releasing their second EP ‘Find Your Way’ at the end of September.

Formed in 2012, this Sheffield 6 piece make unique and forward thinking UK music with a variety of Indie, Soul & Hip-Hop influences. After releasing the Carlton Breezy EP last year, this September sees them drop their long awaited second offering 'Find Your Way'.

To mark this special occasion, Brigantii have invited some of our favourite Sheffield bands and DJs to get it popping:

 

LIMIT BREAK

 

Our good friends Limit Break have been super busy holed up in their home studio creating an infectious fusion of Drum & Bass electronica melded with Indie guitar sounds. Featuring the mesmeric vocals of Sheffield singer-songwriter Chloe-Jade Simmons, Limit Break are something truly different and intriguing. With a hotly anticipated new EP due for release, expect to hear a lot more from this forward thinking four-piece.

 

HOT DIAMOND ACES

 

Topping the bill is Sheffield’s ultimate party band! Combining infectious rhythms with a raw brass sound, Hot Diamond Aces are guaranteed to get you all moving and grooving. Showcasing a mixture of afro-beat, funk and jazz, the band’s explosive and complex arrangements not only get people on the dancefloor, but also illustrate just how far instrumental music can be pushed.

 

HDA are made up of 7 Sheffield based musicians who all appear frequently with other bands and line-ups ranging from Renegade Brass Band, Harleighblu, Rodney P, MYJO, Fletcher Dervish, Sarah Jay, and many more.

 

With their long awaited Turtle Knight EP coming soon this is another band you need to keep your eye on!

Two of Sheffield’s best DJs also representing some of the city’s most popular club nights will be tearing up the decks with a tropical mix of Afrobeats, Hip-Hop Mashups, Bashment and everything in between to ensure the party keeps going late into the night.

Brigantii singer Liam Shrivastava is going to Africa in October as part of International Citizen Service and is fundraising for the International development charity Challenges Worldwide.
