Or did the illegal invasion of Iraq and the subsequent deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians and the ongoing chaos in the Middle East just pass you by? That's a rather partisan perspective I have to say....I personally think Roy Jenkins was the best Home Secretary since 1945, by a country mile; and John Major was not betrayed by his party. That's shocking news, especially after the unions destabilised the economy in 2008 with the credit crunch.
