Hallamshire Archaeological and Historical Association is starting off it’s classes next week across Chesterfield, Rotherham and Sheffield. With a full range of courses from Biblical History through to the Great War, there is bound to be something there to interest everyone. My grandmother was Smith and lived down Store St at the newsagents before getting bombed out. One of her relatives was the Samuel Smith who had mineral water plant down attercliffe thats been mentioned a few times. cheers, Pete Ps. family history isn't my particular strong point!
