Yeah but thats not what it means and you know it.

He'll either be caught or killed. If he's caught he'll face trial and likely never be released from prison.

If he's killed then job done. He probably won't be missed.

But what about the people he's left dead and injured?    Sounds as if they don't count

People  having guns that can fire 45 rounds a minute - bit quicker than the muskets at the time of writing of the second amendment.

But some folk seem happy with any old loon having the ability to own summat that can kill half a street in a minute or so.

Perhaps the mentally ill should have their cars taken from them then?

Sadly in the great scheme of things they don't. Life is cheap in America and of course these dead people will be mourned and used by various people to push their political point but then they will be forgotten and along will come another mass shooting.

Ahhhh the musket argument. That holds no water.

The right of any old nutter to own guns that can kill dozens of people a minute seems to weigh higher than the poor victims of crime to some folk.

Nothing to do with cars at all.  This is about guns and shooting and you're just deflecting the argument.

We know it will happen again but that doesn't mean it's all right then

The musket argument may hold no water for you but you're not the only one with an opinion.

That's a sound argument anyway Things have changed a great deal since the laws were made but the powerful gun lobby don't want change.

I find your argument very laid back and couldn't care less. Probably meant to provoke rather than debate in a concerned way because I don't feel that you have any real concern.

Bold.

Look what other weapons were around at the time of the musket. Then you'll see why that argument holds no water.

Underlined.

And yet you were easily 'provoked' 🙄

What you call laid back I call factual. If you're that bothered then why not start a Gofundme for the victims families? Go on, do it otherwise you're just virtue signalling. Post a link to your fundraiser and I'll happily donate something 👍

The Left's stereotype of the average legal gun owner in America, bears no resemblance to reality.

The Leftist politicians would never give up their own gun-toting security details.

It's all about disarming the general law abiding public, not the actual criminals who more and more control the streets of America.

"After neighbors complained about the noise he was making, a Texas man went next door with an AR-15-style rifle and shot them, killing five people – including an eight-year-old child – as well as wounding three others at a home in Cleveland, Texas, on Friday night."

Don't think this is what was intended in the "right to bear arms" amendment to the constitution.

Another gullible click bait consumer!  :)

Your Texan, wasn't even American! He was a Mexican illegal.

Texas fugitive accused of killing 5 was illegally in US; deported 5 times

Francisco Oropesa has reentered country illegally 'multiple' times following deportations: ICE source
