so theres rumours the shooter of the Texas one had his advances spurned

sounds like he was obsessive.

also id read, but cant find it now, he took the legally held guns off his dad, so banning him from owning guns because of mental health issues wouldnt have helped in this case.

But stopping his dad having them would

exactly

if theres less legally held guns around theres less likely an angry obsessive spurned teen will grab them and go on a rampage

People seem to be more concerned about activities in other countries than our own. I would have thought knife, chemical and fire related assaults in the UK would be of far more concern, apparently not. it seems we'd rather attempt to interfere in something we can have no bearing on.

By the way knives and blades do not injure or kill people. People do.

and the knife attacks are generally commited by "criminals" whereas the US shootings are generally commited by people with no prior criminal past (not always but generally) they just snap, and CAN just pick up a legally held weapon, and also the grand scale and frequency is also of note to people around the globe

in that the act of stabbing someone generally makes you a criminal then of course they are. Otherwise please cite your evidence that most knife attackers were previously criminals.

please cite your source

And that is relevant to us in the UK because?

I have friends in the USA so privately I do care what happens to them as to the plight of the general population of the USA I am like most people decidedly indifferent.

Your obsession with activities within the US is interesting ...a little bit. But your effort would I think be better spent on a topic more relevant to the UK. for example ...like the number of people who can't accept they lost the remain in the eu vote and will it seems stoop to some depths to delay or prevent the leaving instead of just emigrating and becoming european.
