geared
Generally not a great idea as the water can get inside the electrical systems and causes problems. Engine degreaser, or Cilit Bang and a rag is the best method really.

geared
Get the garage to sort it out then, if you don't know what you're doing then you shouldn't be doing it. Oil leaks aren't very hard to find, any garage worth their salt should be able to locate one fairly quickly.

But you need to know what to do, if it does not start.
