Vice article on Rotherham CSE & a whistleblower.

I wonder if its possible to put an FOI in for how many people were paid off with regards to whistle blowing by RMBC. I suppose it will take forever to get information from them, and even then i struggle to believe they will be honest.

I note that the Select Committee had been told on many occasions before they acted on it too according to this whistle blower. The plot thickens.

You'll never get that info as they don't file it in such a way for it ever to be found out. You could put an FOI request in to see how many left with 'exit packages' and while you're at it, do the same for Sheffield Council too, within the same 16 years.

Don't kid yourself, its a classic way to deflect complaints. Get people to log incidents, get them to make suggestions about what should be done and ignore them, and draft documents, that those in charge think they may not be capable of drafting. Turn up 45 minutes after a call for someone who is being beaten up by several abusers and have someone destroy the evidence that is needed to make a prosecution. It stinks of corruption. And what pray is Ailsa Barr doing now that JoyceThacker has taken the fall for her?

Absolutely. And, isn't Sarah Champion the one being put forward for the new PCC? And, who was on the Home Office CSE Select Committee at the time it is said that Cole wrote a letter to them?

These cases are just the tip of a very large iceberg but the full truth will never emerge as too many people who turned a blind eye will want them brushed under the carpet, a national disgrace.

This is a book by the girl in the article. I know her personally and what happened to her was an absolute disgrace.

Its looking like this has been done the length and breadth of the country on an industrial scale, there will also be as many people in power who turned a blind eye as there are perpetrators, each and everyone should be exposed and tried.
