Jim Hardie
Someone in the Parson X Asda says that the police are at the petrol station on Wordsworth Avenue issuing fixed penalties to drivers still displaying discs. An offence? Surely not? I wondered why there were loads of Guinness labels blowing about when I drove down there this morning.
Sparkasaurus
Technically any vehicle taxed before 01/10/14 still has to display a valid tax disc up to the expiry date. I had to do mine last month, and was told this by the DVLA themselves. However they also told me that it's unlikely to cause any problems if I didn't display it, as it won't ping any ANPR cameras.
