Greatest Living Yorkshireman (or Woman)

Recommended Posts

I'll go with Hockney, whilst not all of his work appeals to me - why should it? - I don't doubt for one minute that he's a great artist.

Apart from The Angel of the North I haven't seen any of Gormleys work.

As for Boycott, I know several people who have met him and not one had any time for him. Obnoxious man by all accounts, and I don't believe him when he says he didn't hit a woman.

Had a cricketing mate who met him at his cc on Silkstone road,he said the same thing, not a nice man.

Eric Braithwaite for me.

While you are there, call in and see the red squirrels at Formby

I have been told by a recent visitor that the reds succumbed to the virus brought in by the greys.

Please check or you may have a wasted journey.

I nominate Professor Sir John Walker
