mjhal Posted October 4, 2014 Author Share Posted October 4, 2014 p46 was the form used to get a taxcode, i think its all done by computer now if he hasn't earned any money or claimed any benefits since 5th april then he wont have a p45. if you dont have a p45 or other notification of a tax code then he'll be on the emergency code which is the same as the standard tax code. i'd imagine he'll be on the standard code so nothing we've talked about will change. if he's been claiming benefits then he should have got a p45 when he signed off, if not then he should be chasing the job centre Hi thanks for that, he has been at college for last two years , so he's not been on any benefits Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
