The very popular and talented Sheffield band The Seven Shades will be returning once again to La Mama this month! Expect to hear Swing Jazz, Bossa Nova and oodles of the 'old classics', including the likes of Cole Porter, Louie Armstrong, Miles Davis, Antonio Jobim, Wes Montgomery and Duke Ellington. The Seven Shades are a duo consisting of John Draper (piano and vocals) and Stephen Mosel (double bass). Music starts at 7pm. We are very happy to have returning to La Mama Andrew Clegg. Andrew is a talented Spanish and Latin guitarist, who takes passionate rhythms and beautiful melodies to create a wonderful fusion of sound. Taking influences from flamenco and the music of South America, the BBC once said 'Andrew is a rising star'. Andrew has played in Europe and festivals around the country, and this is a wonderful opportunity to see him playing live in an intimate environment.
