The Hobgoblin Comedy Award Calling all you funny people! The search for comedy’s next big thing is on! Whether you’re an expert at one-liners, musical, physical, sketch, cabaret or alternative comedian…. it’s simple, if you’re funny, you’re in with a chance. Make it through your local heat, crush the opposition at the Hobgoblin Big Gig Grand Finale and comedy glory could be yours. To enter comedians and comedic performers can upload a video clip (along with a brief biog and photo) at http://www.wychwood.co.uk. Acts will then be chosen from the uploads to perform at the regional heats taking place in 20 venues up and down the country from Belfast to Brighton, Liverpool to London, with regional comedy promoters, venues programmers and the award team judging regional heats. All heats will be presided over by our irrepressible compere Tiernan Douieb who will host proceedings and well as driving up and down the land in the Ltd Edition Hobgoblin Jag.
