thepreacher
He crashed into our parked car in Crookes and drove off. I'd obviously like to track him down. Have him on CCTV from the building opposite, it's a really distinctive van, a Aixam mega pickup, white and black, with a poem ranting about potholes in Sheffield. He tried to squeeze through a gap way too small and scraped our wheel arch and smashed our wing mirror in the process. There was another vehicle involved who reversed up the hill and chased him. We also have several witnesses, he was seen tanking it down Toyne street presumably trying to get away. If anyone knows him then tell him to put his details on our car Thursday-Friday 9-5 in the same place, and we'll sort this out through insurance amicably. He can always deny knowledge, I just don't want it to come out of my pocket. Half the people I know seem to have seen this van, so it's only a matter of time.... owltillidie
Its against forum rule to mask swear words on here. Kids might be reading it
thepreacher
Fair enough. How do I modify the title? This wasn't meant to be offensive. If there are any mods reading can you remove the offensive word? ---------- Post added 07-10-2014 at 08:34 ---------- Here's a picture of what it looks like https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5148/5644071954_58cf9dce24_z.jpg
dan2802
His name is Dougie and he's a nutter (not in a nasty way). He used to stay on the caravan park on Lodge Ln but not sure if he's still there. If you have CCTV and witness you should be fine.
mediumfast
I was behind him the other day on Abbey Lane and he kept randomly slamming his brakes on for some reason! kept my daughter amused reading the stuff about Sheffields potholes though. hyper
If he is the one who used to have the same message on a white Citroen van, then he's not nice. We (2 of us) were once cycling down Rivelin and he gave us the most foul-mouthed, nasty verbal abuse I've come across in along time. And we weren't doing anything dodgy. The sort of nutter you don't stand up to cos you don't know his next move.

thepreacher
Thanks for all the responses, I've had a lot of help from people tracking him down and I have his vehicle registration so I'll leave this up to the insurance company to resolve now. Cheers.
Agent Orange
I often see him driving along Derek Dooley Way in a morning. Love how the poem apologies for his driving, blaming pot-holes
