rothschild Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Check your filter. I think you will find it's totally blocked with fluff. Remove the fluff and replace the filter and it should work properly again. I do this after every few uses because I found out that was what was causing the same problem with my tumble dryer. If the filter is blocked and it's caused the stat to blow by overheating then no amount of cleaning will rectify it unless by removing the filter alone resets the stat..that's if it has a re-settable stat.
