geared Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 I suppose the question is do you consider it appropriate to compare the declared Caliphate that is in Syria/Iraq currently to the one that existed hundreds of years ago. I don't think it's appropriate to say just because something happened back then it's ok for it to happen now, and vice-versa. I don't see why they would have any form of planning permissions that denies people housing so that a wealthy class of property owners can exploit those without, if they are truly religious. They invade towns, and kill people. They must be religious. To serve " God" truly, you have to kill "His" enemies -- that is, anyone whose views about "Him" are different from yours.
