ronthenekred
It's not actually in Paris, though. Even more of a rip-off then. That's like Disney London and sticking it in Dulwich.
Mecky
I'd be looking more at why it appears to be failing attract as many people as it did than whether or not it should be allowed to go to the wall

GLASGOWOODS
Yes and do what about it? Lower their pricing structure. Or go to the wall.
Powerage
I have no interest in going to that one or either of the ones in the USA as I imagine that its even worse than Alton Towers for waiting to go on the rides etc and vastly more expensive. Always thought situating it in Paris was a big mistake due to the weather, somewhere in the South of France would have made more sense.
tzijlstra
It'd be a slap in the face of the French people if that place was bailed out by their Government and not by the billion dollar business empire that actually owns the joint. It'd be even more insulting if money came from the EU to bail it out. That won't happen, nor will the EU allow the French to subsidise it, it is against the law. RollingJ
That won't happen, nor will the EU allow the French to subsidise it, it is against the law. That last part of your comment made me laugh, tzijlstra - since when have the French (or other European Governments, come to that), bothered about EU regulations if they are to their disadvantage? Since it has come into force. As it made you laugh the onus is on you find me an example of a company being illegally subsidised by a government.
