What are your 2 biggest (essential) outgoings after mortgage/rent?

Recommended Posts

Unemployed so no mortgage/rent/councul tax. My biggest will be sky (£45) . Then mobile £40

I am employed so can't afford Sky or £40 a month for a mobile .

Food and Energy bills my biggest outgoings a month .

For us it is probably income tax, then it is food but excluding that there are the cars (Fuel/Insurance/Maintenance) that are probably the highest

I think the OP means after taxation (effective take home pay)

Yeah I gathered that. Had a better look at the accounts, for us it is definitely food/drink/going out. The good life I suppose.

You try and keep kids quiet without sky! i have to stay in touch just incase a job might come up via phone or email.

As you are unemployed you could try and... talk to them? Might stop them from thinking life is great when you're unemployed. I don't know, just a thought. Oh and do buy a 10£ prepay nokia somewhere.
