tzijlstra
sounds like you might have too much salt? Do you use all in one tablets and still put salt in the dishwasher as well?
Guest sibon
It could be that. Or your rinse aid might have run out.
Billy Mack
"sounds like you might have too much salt?" I would say the opposite. I may be wrong but sounds like you need to top it up with salt. The white sounds like grease residue. At the bottom you will see something that looks like a big screw cap pour the salt in. Should sort it. Alcoblog
I have a whirlpool dishwasher the plates and glasses are clean of food but just lately everything is being left with a white film on them, any ideas I believe that some of the inner workings of Whirlpool dishwashers are manufactured in Sierra Leone. Without trying to cause any widespread panic whatsoever ... DON'T OPEN THE BLOODY DOOR!
Billy Mack
You cant add to much salt! You fill the salt container and the machine uses it accordingly. Should last a few month. The white residue is the grease from the plates, butter, oil etc etc that when cold leave a white residue.
tzijlstra
I am no expert, so I stand happily corrected, a white film does sound like a salt issue to me though. Should be easy to determine: lick a plate and see what it tastes of.
