medusa
I like them underripe to eat as they are, but I'm happy to eat them more ripe with custard or in a sandwich, and if they're too ripe for that then I'm quite happy to mash them up and make banana tea bread with them. Hawa
Apparently monkeys open them from the none-stick-end. No idea how true that is.
tzijlstra
I find bananas a bit overrated as a fruit. I quite like a banana every now and then, but they have become dominant to the point where they overshadow native fruits like apples, pears, plums. Voting UKIP will solve this issue. Mecky
If you buy them from the supermarket, you've got to wait at least a couple of days before you can eat them. I like them for breakfast in a fresh roll or as a desert with plain yogurt and honey. There is only a very short term in which to eat them, they over ripen very fast, within a day I reckon. I go for bright yellow with just a touch of green at the ends

carosio
Disappointing lack of use of the smiley so far. Allow me  Until it was pointed out to him that they were cultivated from the much smaller wild banana!
