Batley Blade Posted March 22, 2006 Share Posted March 22, 2006 Not living in Sheffield and not knowing the pubs around the Bramall Lane area, I've always gone to the Sportsman before and after matches. I normally drive down and can only have 1 or 2. But this weekend I'm coming down for a booze-up and just wondered what other pubs were worth trying and whereabouts they are (no Wednesday fans sending me to gay bars or ruff-holes either ). I know the landlord of the Angel Inn in Woodhouse but that's miles away. Might call in for one at some point if that's any cop though? Appreciate any advice.
