Just be warned, theyre menus changes seasonally, so not sure when she graduates if the menus linked will still be there. (Though assuming she graduates in December) If shes graduating from Sheff Uni, rather than SHU the York is also lovely for more formal meals. They have a sister restaurant at the Old House, but its not very formal or "special" if you know what I mean (it is lovely to eat in though) The Milestone @ The Wig & Pen, just behind the cathedral? Its a mix of traditional British food with some American (pulled pork on burgers) and Italian-inspired (pumpkin tortellini) dishes as well. Silversmiths, just off Arundel Gate, is lovely as well. They have a few menus (Tues night is pie night, so only pies on the menu, and theres week and weekend menus to browse through) and reservations are recommended as the place is tiny. Hope this helps!!
