Bonzo77
Sadly, I agree. But I urge you to at least spoil your vote. And still being active politically is essential. I'm very active politically, much more than the average Joe, who knows what colour he/she usually votes for, ticks the same box every time then does nothing for 4 years. ---------- Post added 08-11-2014 at 13:00 ---------- Parties have to be pretty "broad church" - you can't expect an exact fit - yet you can't vote for a party that would appear to cover your two main stated concerns. What exactly do you expect fom political parties? My main concern is returning our economy to a reasonable state. Removing the power that business has over politics. If a politician stood for that, they'd get my vote.

You appear to be arguing that to get a strong economy we need more regulation of business which would tend to be contradictory - or are you arguing that business should have no role in funding political parties? SavannahP
True. Although as a party, I still don't feel represented by them. I'll carry on being active on a local level and not waste my time voting. Socialist Workers Party opposed to HS2, want to decriminalise cannabis and are anti capitalist. Pretty much. I know politics costs money, but big business shouldn't be allowed to influence political decisions. The economy can't continue to grow at the pace it is now. If capitalism is to be sustainable, the wealth needs to be distributed more evenly. At the moment the top 1% are sucking the system dry. ---------- Post added 08-11-2014 at 13:15 ---------- Socialist Workers Party opposed to HS2, want to decriminalise cannabis and are anti capitalist.
