hillsbro Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 ...I am especially wanting to know when it was built...It isn't mentioned in the 1965 Kelly's Directory but it is shown in the 1971 edition, so this suggests it was built between 1964 and 1970. hobbinfootju Posted November 12, 2014 Author Share Posted November 12, 2014 Thanks for your replies I didn't realise that it is now a shop. I think it was built around 1966 but I cannot be sure. It was a terrific facility at the time the reference section was my favourite and of course the wildlife books which I would never have seen if the Library hadn't been built.
