geared Posted November 14, 2014 Share Posted November 14, 2014 (edited) Before his stint in prison he was a relatively decent footballer (on the field), the 2011-2012 season he had 34 goals for 42 games. Compare that to their current choice of forwards and you'll see how desperate they are for someone up front. I expect the chance to pick up someone and pay them next to nothing (because no-one else would touch him with a 10ft pole) was too good to pass up.
