jane2008
Elm Lane, it's awful. Some have been filled in but not left level.
Tobyjug
This thread would be a lot shorter if the title was "Best road surface in Sheffield" I have reported the same potholes twice on the councils website within the last 6 weeks. I am still waiting for some action.
geared
Is it just me or has the quality of Sheffield's roads got absolutely appalling lately? Is it worth putting a complaint into the council or am I wasting my time doing it during winter? A decent cold snap does usually open up quite a few new pot holes. No need to complain tho, it's just the way it is. Make sure you report them so the council know to get them repaired - if they're not reported they're not getting filled quickly. http://www.fillthathole.org.uk/

cozmium
I've yet to find anything as awful as Mappin St.: it might not be long, but it gets progressively worse the nearer you get to West Street and brave is the person that ventures over 2-3mph~. Funky_Gibbon
Deerlands Avenue. Go along that at speed and you'll lose a filling.
mossdog
Parts of Oldfield Road Stannington are now like an old Roman cart track...........shocking!
Guest
Archer Road. Absolute disgrace. Agreed. And although they resurfaced Abbeydale Rd last year, Archer Rd isn't due until next year
carosio
Deerlands Avenue. Go along that at speed and you'll lose a filling. Deerlands, Hartley Brook Rd are possibly the worst I've drove along, and as someone else mentioned Elm Lane has repairs (humps) that are worse than the red speed-cushions.
