I’m halfway through putting together a fun live project taking influences from house, garage, grime, ska, broken beat, afrobeat, funk and disco… A soulful electronic party band with a good dose of funk, stage presence and British humour and style. Kind of a mixture between Basement Jaxx, Bugz In The Attic, Groove Armada, Parliament, Madness and Ian Dury and The Blockheads, for the 21st century. Or something like that. I've got most of the people I need, including a couple of male vocalists, but I am looking for a decent female singer to balance things out! Lots of experience is not essential, but a bit of soul and a willingness to get up on stage and have a laugh certainly is! Please pm me or email thecoloneluk@gmail.com if you're interested!
