Cameron's promises

Recommended Posts

Of course they do. The World's longest suspension bridge was once the Humber Bridge. It isn't now.

So you're saying things are going to be bright and shiny if the tories win next year's election? I bet you said that in 2009 too

I don't like any of the political party leaders, they all make promises and when they get in power, they are like different people, just in it for themselves. If UKIP do garner enough votes at the general election, (I don't think they will gain many seats) perhaps it will make the other three main parties sit up and take notice - then again maybe not.

It will be very entertaining, like the Dutch PVV (Wilders' anti muslim party) minister who recently argued that reports don't mean anything to her and scientists are practically always wrong. When she was asked if she thought it was relevant that a hospital had 50% more operating deaths due to surgeon error than any other hospital in the country she replied with: they are people too, let them get on with their job.

Highly entertaining, especially seeing all those that voted her in agreeing with her on social media.

Things are bright and shiny though. Employment is up, inflation is down, growth is up, we are better placed than more or less any country in the world for expansion, and oil is falling significantly as well.

No, I'm saying the Humber bridge was once the worlds longest. It isn't now.

You were the one who claimed that facts cannot alter. They can.

I'm still waiting on Osborne's fairytale today

Just watching Balls now.

What are his suggestions so far?

-

Why are things being cut?

Why not cut business tax?

Why not increase tax credits instead of reducing them?

Why not tax banker's bonuses to pay for young people to get jobs?

He's criticised less tax revenue, even though they promised (during their term) that lower incomes would be pulled slowly out of income tax?

Where does his money come from Mecky to cover all these costs?

He said 'he [Osborne] hasn't balanced the books'

, well ****!

I hope they win. Then we'll see the figures in action :hihi:

Easy isn't it?

Get a country in ****, then criticize the next man for not getting us out of it.

Are you sure about that?

Maybe you can tell us all why the national debt has doubled since 2010?

No he wasn't, I don't smoke a pipe.

The facts that were in dispute, or rather ignored, had nothing to do with a bridge.
