Bonzo77
Another gem from the Daily Fail. Why the massive focus on the young man's taste in music?
alchresearch
Pathetic isn't it. How many people got into Slipknot in the past year and didn't kill themselves. Reminds me of the Judas Priest trial.
ronthenekred
People kill themselves every day because of an idea, words etc yet billions read and hear the same but don't go to extremes. It isn't the extremity of what is being said, it's the extremity of the individual troubled personality and how he/she reads or interprets it. Is Slipknot any less important culturally than say religion?
geared
Well half the time you can't understand what is being said anyway, so it's abit of a leap to say it encouraged him.
Mister M
Funnily enough the Daily Mail didn't reprt the death of Lucy Meadows (a transexual primary school teacher) who hung herself after Richard Littlejohn chose to mock her in his weekly Dail Mail column. Hot As Sun
There are some depressing goth type bands that could be accused of leading young impressionable fans to cause harm to themselves, but Slipknot are not that type of band at all, far from it. Music doesn't cause people to harm themselves.
Hot As Sun
Music doesn't cause people to harm themselves. I agree. Though I do feel like throwing myself of a cliff when I watch XFactor.
