V.Rossi Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Been issued a VDRS for blown tail-lights, phoned where I got my MOT done this afternoon and was quoted £10 for someone to just look at it, sign a piece of paper and send me on my way, the fact that I was told it wasn't their fee, it's the fee the police charge and it costs them £10 to do it made me weary (Why not just be honest?) so wondering if there's anywhere else that charges a more realistic fee? I've replaced the bulbs, literally just need someone to look and sign. I do expect a fee, I wouldn't expect someone to do it for nothing but a realistic fee. haddy Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 That fee is standard and some garages are charge more! Simple thing to prevent a cost is make sure you car is not ILLEGAL.
