CELCAD
Snake pass has been closed tonight again due to abdoned cars Could have done with knowing this before I set of for Manchester at 4 this morning. Had to divert back through Rivelin Vally and up to the M1. Put some serious pressure on getting to the airport in time for the other halfs flight. No snow forecast, no sign of snow at Ladybower, no sign of snow in Manchester, little bit on the M62. So my question is this. "Was it REALLY impassible?" Can't see it myself, but having been caught out with that thought before, I thought better of it this morning.

L00b
Not being funny, and I am not a meteorologist, but you take a passing look at Raintoday right now? There's this great big cold air-fed anti-cyclone just about over Middlesbrough, which is moving slowly down and south/south-east... ...and there's also this great big lot of precipitations fast making its way fully due east over the length of Ireland. Now just imagine both meeting smack over central England sometime tonight: [big Hero 6 baymax]Oh no[/big Hero 6 baymax].
