Grappler
Brilliant touch ,and thank you . It was good to see them do it, and a great cause, one that the whole of Sheffield hopefully supports (along with St. Luke's, etc.)
Longy67
Great game last night, fantastic result too, good thread on the subject celebrating and congratulating the result from both sides, then, as per usual, the thread just goes down the pan into the usual 'banter'...:suspect:

potlegs
Good grief - I am glad this is the season to be jolly 'n all that! Thank heavens for Webby! Stellarised - we will all need to be that after this lot. I am going to get vodkarised. We have 'pathetics' on both sides and you all know that. castleboy
? Blades got an excellent Semi-final draw v Spurs, away first leg (hold them to a draw or odd goal) and a good chance of pulling it off at the Lane, always said it's better to have the second leg at home, it's a big advantage .Well done again , you done Sheffield proud. ? Owl. If nothing else it should give us the financial boost for a goal scoring centre forward in the January window, Jim Phipps has just been on the radio saying that monies have been allocated by the board for Clough to spend ... we shall see. atticus
Obviously blades not my team, but what did you do differently last night to get past them that you haven't done against lesser teams. (Slight satalite delay Gazza) The problem we have at home in the league is that teams turn up , play 11 men behind the ball and hit us on the break. We spend 90min passing the ball around in our own half and when we eventually do create a chance (after about 65min) the striker misses it. Away from home and against the better teams in the cup we are usually given a lot more space and time in midfield and actually look like a very good passing team; although we still need a striker, The team we have at the moment is probably not cut out for 3rd division football
