hillsbro
Hi Clowes361 - welcome to the Forum!. I don't know if this is relevant but the 1971 Kelly's Directory (compiled in 1970) includes a Wood Lane entry: "Jonathan H. Wragg (Shooter's Grove)". The 1973 directory gives "Sam W. Mumby (Shooters Grove)". The Shooters Grove entry does not appear in the 1974 directory. The 1911 census shows a Jonathan H. Wragg, aged 9, the son of Jonathan B. Wragg, 0f "Wood Lane Farm". The G.R.O. deaths index includes an entry for Sam William Mumby, born 30 June 1922, died Jul-Sep 1972.
Clowes361
Thanks, this is useful as I believe Annie Maria Wragg lived in the Bungalow on the farm and died in 2003. So confirms the family lineage. ---------- Post added 29-12-2014 at 21:14 ---------- Does anyone know if there any members of the Wragg family who lived on the farm at Shooters Grove, Stannington, still living in Sheffield?
