Unconfirmed reports in the French press that the two suspects from yesterday have been located in Northern France.

 

Theres also reports of an explosion close to a Mosque in Eastern France, but its not known if theres a connection.

Although the behaviour of the murderers was disgusting and their actions can't be justified in any way (unlike previous terrorist attacks), I would like to make one point to the forum.

 

I guarantee you that in the last 3 months more Muslim civilians have died at the hands of western weapons than western civilians at the hand of Muslim's.

 

So whilst their undoubtedly is a problem within Islamic culture, there is a problem within our own culture that is at least as dangerous to world peace. Adopting this hollier than thou attitude will not solve anything.

It was to continue the theft of their oil and to meddle in the politics of a region that doesn't concern us. 20 Pakistani's died in December alone in US drone strikes. The death sentence was carried out on people who have been convicted of no crime in a country the US is not at war with.

 

To extend the timeline further, a minimum of 200,000 Iraqi civilians died as a result of a barbaric and baseless invasion.

 

The world is more complex than them being the baddies and us being the goodies.

So you are saying that as there is no problem with Islamic culture, that the culture is perfect? Is every other culture without problems or just the Islamic culture?

 

There are problems with every culture, as unfortunately cultures are made up of humans, whom are extremely fallible creatures.
