El Swiftos
Riverside Cafe on Parkside road (opposite Hillsborough school). Is fully licensed but kids are allowed in too. I had my 30th in there. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
raymond1947
hi clevercow.....I had a party at The Garrison hotel in Hillsborough Barracks a couple of years ago. The room I had would be ideal for the party you want. it was suitable for up to 50 people, had some arched hole in the wall areas for little groups of 6 to chat in, a raised area for some tables and disco, and there were outside doors onto a raised patio/area. Disco provided by hotel, all very reasonable with choices of buffet plans.
gadgit
I've DJ'ed at loads of 18ths, the biggest problem you'll find is that most pubs and venues don't allow 18th Birthdays due to the almost inevitable trouble they attract, plus many of the guests are typically under-age. Many i've worked at have been held in village halls or community centres.
Ginger1
Queens Social Club, Queens Road (S2) Large venue taht does amazingly cheap hire. Plus you can provide your own buffet, DJ & decorate the room your party.
