Voting Green - the party for the rich?

Recommended Posts

True, and those who work for someone else (apart from public services) should remember that the reason they have a job is due to the fact that their employer has taken a chance to start that business in the first place.

Those who work in public service should also remember that their fat cat pensions are funded by the tax paid by those companies and the people who work in them.

I work hard in the public sector for little pay and no gratitude, my pension projections are for a pittance - so shove your prejudice about fat cat pensions up your arse

Thank you for your brilliant analysis. Do you study repartee or is it just a gift?

Mister M, if your pension and pay is that poor then you are probably of low skill and ability.

Just because you have failed to achieve in the public sector, doesn't mean that the many, many more able and skilled people in your sector haven't got their nose in the troughs.

For your information my job requires a professional qualification & I had to work bloody hard to achieve it (5 years), in spite of a serious illness. Which is precisely why I cannot work full time doing the job I do. So no - it is not a job of low skill and ability. Even so the people in my organisation that are on non clinical contracts often put in that extra, because they too have a public service ethos.

There are a small number of highly paid people in the public sector who would qualify for 'fat cat' pensions I and my colleagues are not in that category.....We do the job we do (even though it impacts negatively on our health) because of our passion and commitment to serving the public.

I'm out there making a difference to people's health and their lives, I know what I'm worth. I see it everyday in the patients / clients that I work with. I don't give a **** about some trolls opinion.

To be honest I was only mean to you because you were needlessly mean to someone else.

There are a great number of people in the public sector who have incredible pensions compared to people in the private sector. The Police have an awesome pension, as do firefighters, teachers and many others.

And there are people in the Private sector who get pensions of stratospheric proportions compared to most people. It shouldn't be a fight between private and public, it should be a fight between those who get massive amounts (irrespective of their sector) and those who get sweet FA.

If you want to pretend that public sector pensions are better than those in the private I will refer to Fred Goodwin

The tone of your contribution really says it all, envy, insulting and boorish language, the inference that anyone who seeks to better themselves via hard work, taking a chance, must be a "wannabee" "stupid" or similar. No evidence of any Old Etonians tying to sell NHS but hey if Silliband and Ballsup say it it must be true! Typical socialist, pathetic.

The tone of my contribution is no different to the tone of the likes of you when you don't like something you read. You're happy to insult people from the left, yet think you have some kind of moral high ground when your political beliefs are questioned. Typical pathetic Tory nonsense!

Not every right winger on here is a troll, but it is interesting that the trolls on here seem to be attracted to the right wing of politics. I wonder why that is?
