What started the universe ? ---------- Post added 26-01-2015 at 22:00 ---------- If someone is without belief it could be down to several things. -It could be that they believe there is no God/are no gods (which is what you seem to think absence of belief exclusively is) -It could be that they've simply remained without belief since birth and are yet to be convinced about any of the gods, but are open minded on the matter -it could be that they've given it thought but still haven't decided whether to believe. -etc. A belief is a conviction, not an indecisive position.
