KevinHodges Posted December 10, 2017 Share Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Spent two days camping with the farmers permission up at the supposedly haunted pylon and not a sausage, apart from the sausage on the camp fire. I have a question for you and anyone that lives in Stocksbridge. In that documentary with Michael Aspel, the local historian say's the monk came to Underbank Hall and worked as a groundsman till he died. Where is Underbank Hall ? The only place I can find with that name is in Stockton, Manchester, and it looks nothing like the photo of Underbank Hall shown in the documentary.? Come to a hill, at the bottom take the slip road signed Steel Works/Stocksbridge, follow road till the next left turn, which is Underbank Lane.
