trav4
It seems Hartlepool are looking at signing Porter, good luck to the lad wherever he goes.
top4718
I'd have thought Ched Evans has more chance of finding a club than him

farmer
What do supporters expect? The guy always gives 100%, but is playing in a system which doesn't suit his style. You are never going to be able to play a forward who hangs around the six yard box looking for goalscoring chances if you are only playing one man up front. He does a job of making diagonal runs and pulling the defenders sideways plus he is not bad at winning balls in the air. It is not his fault if no other forwards fills the holes he creates. Good luck to him wherever he finishes up (Carlisle is my bet).

This post expresses my thoughts on the matter too, in a team playing a system tailored to his strengths he would be a valuable asset both goals scored and monetary. JonBladesman
I liked him. I don't think his style of play suite us at the moment. I think he'd still do well at a L1 club though.
NERVY-OWL
He seemed to go on a little run of scoring not long ago then disappeared. Did you change manager or was it injury that stopped his progress?
