TheBlueDragon
What really annoys me is the fact that I go to a lot of car shows and buy my tickets online. Even though I'm buying online and you download the ticket they still charge an administration fee. I don't get how they can do that when its all done by computer

TheBlueDragon
No but surly that cost would be included in the price of a ticket. I used to understand the administration fee when they posted them out etc but not now you download them
Powerage
A band called Pearl Jam some of you will of heard of them others maybe not took Ticketmaster to court over this when they found they were selling tickets to their concerts at inflated prices through another site. Guess what they lost and Ticketmaster effectively blocked them from playing at a lot of venues for a few years in the USA. So you can see why a lot of bands maybe reluctant to get embroiled in this problem.
JFKvsNixon
No but surly that cost would be included in the price of a ticket. I used to understand the administration fee when they posted them out etc but not now you download them When the tickets are posted, you usually pay postage. I'd guess that the "administration fee" is there to cover the ticket sellers costs, and also give them a profit. The cost of the ticket covers the cost of the event and also give them a profit.
