JackK0
Hi I am wanting to know what was here before houses were built on roads such as Glenorchy , Struan , Glentilt road I know there was a Knab farm but that must have been further up because the houses on the roads Ive mentioned were built in the 1930s or are they on a farm as well? If anyone has any pictures of those roads before the houses were built id appreciate that as well! Thanks.

hillsbro
Here is a side-by-side comparison of two maps, one from the late 19th century showing "Archer House" in the area mentioned. Use the + or - for a closer or wider view.

Thanks hillsbro.
sharrovian
I remember going to that area with a friend when we were only kids in the late 1940s to their allotment. Their were many allotments and also a rather large pond which we knew as Needhams pond and fields.
