banjodeano
Have you decided on what to buy yet ? I think i am going to go with the Nikon D5300 with the 18-140 lens which Moggy suggested on page one, i had a look at them last weekend in the shop, and it seems okay to me, not sure if the gps and wifi are needed tho, but hey ho.... Just got to wait a couple of months to save up and then i will order from this site, any opinions? http://www.hdewcameras.co.uk/nikon-d5300--18-140mm-vr-kit-1531-p.asp
harvey19
I am not conversant with the camera but think you have made a good choice in the 18-140 lens rather than the basic 18-55. I would still evaluate a bridge camera or advanced compact to see if they would be suitable for your needs.
Ryedo40
Bridge cameras are great for starting out on, but once you get the bug you'll soon find you want a DSLR. Bridge aren't as easy to sell on too, IMO. If I was you I'd jump straight in and get the Nikon D5300 - it's a great choice for the money. Bought my Canon 7D from hdewcameras. No probs whatsoever.
