mbatey
I'm not doing the half-marathon myself, but looking at the route I fancy running a bit of it - up Ringinglow Road, left at the Norfolk Arms, along Sheephill Road to Hathersage Road. Does anyone regularly run along Sheephill Road? It doesn't look like you can run at the side of the road (and off it) - or only certain parts - so is it reasonably safe in terms of traffic? I'd only be doing it in daylight. TIA

GCurtis7
Have to agree with Pete. Sure there are more enjoyable routes to run
Flanker7
They could have gone down Limb Valley then right, waving at the speedy people across the road, to Cross Lane - down Causeway head - left Limb Lane - right Hathersage Rd, waving at the plodders across the road. mbatey
Thanks for the replies. Will try and do it early in the day, and turn off down Long Line I think.
Bargepole23
Plenty of runners on there, and up and down Ringinglow Road, early on Sunday mornings.
DunRunning
No problem early on Sunday morning. I do it regularily along with many others. Keep to the right facing the oncoming traffic.
