Thursday 5th February will be the first in a regular series of walking events organised jointly by local (Sheffield Wanderers) walking guide Steve Murfitt and The Norfolk Arms pub/hotel in Ringinglow.

We are hoping to organise at least two walks a month, starting from The Norfolk Arms and taking in the many different areas of interest around Ringinglow, the Mayfield and Limb Valleys and Porter Clough. As the year progresses we will also look into planning walks further afield, and maybe even some twilight events.

Our leader, Steve Murfitt is an experienced guide with excellent knowledge of the area. He is reknowned for his informative and enjoyable walks, taken at a relaxed pace.

The first walks have been organised to clock in at around 4 miles, with start times of 9:30am from The Norfolk Arms. As this is a joint venture, the cost of the walk also includes lunch back at The Norfolk afterwards at around 12:30pm.

Full details of our first walk are up here, on The Norfolk Arms Ringinglow Walks webpage.

The walks are open to everybody, and well behaved dogs and children are most welcome!

We hope to make this a regular, enjoyable and well attended event so please get involved and spread the word to anybody who may be interested :)
