bullerboY Posted February 1, 2015 Share Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) PeterR Bill lived up Scott Rd area in a house with some lock ups with it he used to say the rent from these paid his mortgage.He went to live at Morecombe before he left for the island to a house on Bray hill then to his last abode i think. ivan edake Posted January 2, 2016 Share Posted January 2, 2016 I used to take bikes there for testing in the 1980s,I believe the tester was called Jim,he was a big bloke and really fair.The brake test was really primative,he attached a winch wire to the bike and then wound it on whilst the rider operated each brake in turn.I never had a failure.
