Am i being fair?

Recommended Posts

My hubby has always had the same routine since we met, Finish work got to the pub, come home, eat and sleep

I used to go with him but now it doesnt interest me and hasnt for a few years.

I want "us" to work i think but im not happy with him drinking and not coming home first.

He doesnt stop me from doing anything i want to do.

Am i being unfair by asking him to change? Should i just call it quits if im not happy?

Getting a divorce over visiting the pub after work does seem pretty extreme but then I wouldn't want my other half to go out without me 5 days a week (and I certainly wouldn't do that to him!)

Have you talked to him about it and how it makes you feel, if so what did he say?

We do sit down and talk about it, last friday we had the conversation and he said we were drifting apart and each time we talked we got further apart

he wants me to go to the Working mens clubs with him but it doesnt appeal to me

were living together but seperately

So let me get this straight - you've been seeing someone else, you don't like doing the same things, and he doesn't even want to see you after work (my other half can't wait to see me, and I can't wait to see him, as soon as possible after 9 hours apart and that's how it should be most of the time, imo).

Sounds like a bit of a waste of time and you may as well call it quits, move on and you can both find lives that make you happy.
