Mister M
Oh in her case you mean she ground the working class into the ground and broke britain in a systematic, cold hearted divide and rule from which we have never recovered. How exactly does that compare with Churchill who brought Britain together against a common enemy? When exactly did she stand as an example to make Britain Great. Thanks to her legacy we are now a joke worldwide. BTW I am female and have never worn a cloth cap but I am Yorkshire working class, socialist from a time when we had socialism and proud of it. Thatcher could've been inspired by Churchill's treatment of the miners of Tonypandy....
The Joker
So, back on topic again, who were the victims of these alleged paedoes? Were they poor, vulnerable children again?
tinfoilhat
So, back on topic again, who were the victims of these alleged paedoes? Were they poor, vulnerable children again? I'm guessing they were. They were in Georgian times also when poor families sold their kids to rich pervs. They are now. They are in Rotherham and they are, no doubt in places like Thailand. If thatcher knew and believed the evidence then you wonder why she didn't act on it.

denlin
Thatcher could've been inspired by Churchill's treatment of the miners of Tonypandy.... I was looking for an example of how she brought people together and made Btitain great
thorphanger
Because insults levelled at Tories are generally spot on! They deserve them all. (Why 'again', though?) Think a few insults levelled at Labour would be very well deserved and be spot on for the mess they made of the country leaving us with no money and so much debt and how the Tories are now sorting out the awful mess they made. Britain is now on the up but heaven help this country if Labour get in again. They are just hopeless at dealing with finances and always get us into debt with their borrowing and taxing and ridiculous benefits.
aliceBB
I thought it was spot on personally. .....Me too! ---------- Post added 31-01-2015 at 22:00 ---------- I was looking for an example of how she brought people together and made Btitain great But she didn't. She drove a big axe through society and reduced many sections of the population to absolute desperation, mainly out of spite.
Plain Talker
What utter meaningless tripe! I thought it was spot on personally. ---------- Post added 31-01-2015 at 19:51 ---------- Yes this is all the more surprising since the Tories on here were very vocal about Labour in Rotherham. Now their heroine is implicated, people get accused of speaking ill of the dead I thnk so too. And I agree totally with the last section of the quote. I think she did stuff that clearly didn't go down well with great swathes of the population probably because she thought she knew best. I'm not sure it was something as petty as spite. But still, 13 years of a labour government really helped the people she had affected in the pit villages etc. Didn't it?
