Mum of eight "forced" to work

Recommended Posts

I accept that - but many can. I cannot speak for everyone, but it my experience of it, that has helped.

Glad to hear it. My mother suffers quite badly. She's worked hard all her life, so it's not through lack of work. She's never managed to get her head round it, only medication seems to work.....sometimes.

8 kids? Get her sterilised.

It is difficult. While ever the state will provide then if a woman wants 8 kids she will. In our society you are guaranteed a roof over your head and a giro to feed yourself with.

I would like to see child benefit stopped at 2 children but then for the unitelligent and selfish there would be poverty and our society as we know it today would be put back over 50 years.

Anyone remember Cathy Come Home?

Yes I remember Cathy Come Home and this current situation is a overreaction to that film. So we go from one extreme to the other. Now we just let them have kids and to hell with the consequences as we the taxpayer will pay.
